Prinx ESG Report 2022

Environmental, Social and Governance Report (ESG Report) is a document reflecting significant efforts and ambitious goals achieved ahead of schedule. PRINX is pleased to present this report, drafted in accordance with the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Our company places great importance on transparency and the detailed account of progress made in the areas of environmental protection, social responsibility, and responsible corporate governance.

Vision and Commitment

This vision translates concretely into integrating sustainable development principles into our strategy and daily operations.

Key Results of the 2022 Report

One of the most significant aspects of our commitment to sustainability is the massive reduction in resource consumption in tire production. Targeted investments in heat recovery facilities, used oils, and nitrogen sulfide have contributed to a 16% reduction in carbon emissions and a 31% reduction in water consumption compared to 2020. This result means that we have surpassed our 2030 carbon emission reduction goal by seven years.

Future Objectives

Looking ahead, we have set even more ambitious goals. By 2025, we aim to triple solar energy production, achieve a 45% and 50% share, respectively, of low rolling resistance tires for commercial vehicles and cars, and further reduce water consumption by 50%. For 2030, we target additional reductions in carbon emissions and water consumption, as well as significant reductions in general and hazardous waste generated per ton of production.

Social Responsibility

Health and safety at work are integral to our sustainability strategy. ISO certifications and open communication with employees contribute to ensuring a safe and satisfying work environment. Additionally, our commitment extends to the overall improvement of society through donations and support for education, providing opportunities for young students for a better future.
